MYRTILL ÉS A SWINGUISTIQUE
Micheller Myrtill and her band were formed in 2011, and their repertoire evokes the atmosphere of 20th-century France with French and English songs in a cheerful gypsy swing style. Their first album was released in 2012 and quickly became a gold record. Myrtill and SWINGUISTIQUE, her second, Hungarian-language album, released in 2014, revisits well-known and forgotten songs from the 1950s and 1960s, supplemented by some original tracks. In 2016, they prepared a new concert program, this time interpreting the famous chansons of Edith Piaf in their distinctive style, which debuted on the main stage of Müpa on March 18th, with tremendous success and a full house. From this Edith Piaf program, they also released an album that can be seen nationwide in 2017. In 2022, the fourth album of the 10-year-old formation was released, featuring iconic French chansons from the past century.
